Amanda Brunker

The inimitable Amanda Brunker, journalist, social diarist, model, TV host and former Miss Ireland has recently added fiction writing to her list of accomplishments.  Her first novel, Champagne Kisses, will be published in Ireland and UK by Transworld in June 2008.

Evelyn Cosgrave

Evelyn Cosgrave is a maths teach, mother of Dharma and Maya, and a novelist whose light and witty style won her a two-book deal from Penguin.  The first of these novels, Desperately Seeking, is currently garnering much media interest.

Good news for vegetarians and all lovers of good food!  Down at the famous Cornucopia restaurant, writer Eleanor Heffernan, photographer Orla Keeshan and graphic designer Orlagh Murphy are cooking, tasting, sketching, laughing, photographing, scribbling, cleaning, sweeping, chatting, reminiscing and planning -- all in order to put together a cookbook collection of the restaurant's best loved recipes, Cornucopia At Home. Like the restaurant, the book promises to be full of life, authenticity, quirkiness, love, enthusiasm, ideals and soul.  It will publish through Atrium Press in autumn 2008.

Garbhan Downey

Garbhan Downey is an author and journalist based in Derry.  One-time Senior Producer (News) at BBC Northern Ireland, his genre is political satire and his books include The Private Diary of a Suspended MLA (Guildhall Press, Derry 2004) and a book of satirical short stories Off Broadway (Guildhall, 2005).  His current novel Running Mates (Blackstaff Press, April 2007) showcases Garbhan's signature style of madcap mayhem and skullduggery, with a race (to the kill) for the Irish presidency.  Garbhan is currently working on a political biography.

Paul KiIduff   

Paul Kilduff moved to London in 1989 and spent six years working in the City of London before returning to Dublin in 1995.  His latest book Ruinair, Paul's first venture into non-fiction, a hilarious but informative exploration of the pros and cons of cheap air travel, is a No 1 Irish bestseller.  He has also written a series of financial thrillers: Square Mile (1999); The Dealer (2000); The Frontrunner (2001) and The Headhunter (2003).  His website is www.paulkilduff.com

Karen Lotter

Karen Lotter is a writer and journalist based in Durban, South Africa. She has written profiles, features, advertising copy, obituaries, press releases, scripts and messages in lip liner on coasters to gorgeous strangers!  At the age of almost 50, she realised her dream of writing fiction. Orna Ross

Orna Ross is a novelist and founder of Font Literary Agency & Writing Centre.  Her books explore the consequences of the past across generations. Audrey Talbot

Audrey Talbot was born in Tipperary but lives in Dublin.  She studied English and Classics at University College Dublin and has lived in southern Italy before working for several years as a teacher.  She has written articles, poems and short stories.  Audrey is at work on a fictional biography set in eighteenth-century Ireland.
