WRITING ADVICE & PUBLISHING ADVICE from Font

“Get It Written” Writing Course

Check out our next writing course which is designed for writers with a novel or nonfiction book that they would like to start and/or finish.

So far we have accepted:

L. who has three published books to her credit, now starting a fourth

C, whose first novel has been called in by a prestigious publishing house and who is now writing a second one

J, who is not yet published but intends to use the course to finish his book

Two journalists, D & M, one embarking on a first novel, the other on a nonfiction book

C, who has yet to write the first words of her first novel but who has a gift with words

R, who has taken a shelved manuscript out of her attic in order to get going on it again

and G, who so far has only written short pieces and intends to travel from the West of Ireland to attend the course

We have a few places left.  Beginners are welcome but this is not a leisure course.  It is for those who are serious about their writing and committed to finishing a book.

The course runs at the James Joyce Centre, Dublin 1, fortnightly on Wednesday evenings, 7.30 - 9.30pm and is led by Orna Ross, bestselling novelist, literary agent and writing mentor.
